Four-Day Trip with ONE Pair of Boots

Last weekend, I went to see my dad and step-madre in Michigan. I left from work on Thursday and a night out to see Jersey Boys.

How does one pack for this? Here's my actual packing list, sans toiletries, hair care, and underthings.

a camel color skirt (NY & Co.)
a white Oxford (Land's End)
a navy blazer (H&M)
a pair of skinny jeans (Old Navy)
a pink cable knit sweater (Old Navy)
an ivory pashmina (gift)
a REVERSIBLE long sleeve t-shirt with THUMB HOLES (Lulu Lemon)
a navy cable knit sweater (Vineyard Vines)
a pair of grey leggings (Target)
a printed tube dress/tunic (Forever 21)
a pair of yoga pants (Lulu Lemon, lounging only)
a college t-shirt (lounging only)

Here's how the weekend panned out. Please reserve judgment on the camera work as I have never claimed to be a photog much less aspire to be one. Deal.

Time out for the top.

I splurged on this reversible long-sleeve t-shirt from Lulu Lemon. Granted, since it is reversible, it's like TWO shirts, so it wasn't all that bad. This thing, though? Is amazing. It's super soft cotton, has long sleeves with thumb holes to cover your hands, and did I mention it's reversible?! Amazing.

Time in for the boots.

So there it is. My fashion gold star!! My dad could not believe it and he is my witness. Those were my only shoes. No slippers, no trainers, no flip flops. Just these amazing little boots from last fall at Target.

Still so impressed with myself.
